SHE IS AN
Actress
I am an actress in theatre, TV and film.
Most recently, I devised and co-starred in Breach Theatre’s It’s True, It’s True, It’s True: Artemisia on Trial. After winning both The Stage award for acting and the Fringe First awards at Edinburgh, the play secured a national, and then international tour (supported by the British Council). It’s True… was also filmed by the BBC, which turned out to be fortuitous after its bookings at The Barbican and in New York in 2020 were cancelled due to the pandemic. We are currently living in hope that these dates are rescheduled sometime in 2021.
In TV, I have popped up in CBBC’s Class Dismissed, SKY’s The Greatest of All Time, BBC2’s The Agency, among others (see full credits list here).
Film work includes The Great Unwashed (directed by Louis Fonseca and starring Jon Pointing), which was nominated for the 2017 BIFA Comedy Award, as well as winning awards at Mammoth Lakes and Sydney Indie Film Festival.
I was also one of the leads in short film Square One (directed by Emily Sargent), which was selected for London Short Film Festival, LOCO film festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, and Inside Out Festival, among many others.

SHE IS A
Writer
A key influence on my early life was watching Anne of Green Gables and Little Women, to the extent that I asked for a quill for Christmas and wore a ruff shirt to my Year 7 disco. Need I say more.
I am currently developing several scripts for screen.
I like to combine the daily, abstract and the stupid in my writing. My writing tends to be inspired by being working class and being a bit ‘odd’. Which after years of trying to fight against, I now embrace with very awkward open arms.
I have been lucky enough this year to write sketches for CBBC’S Crackerjack and Bafta winning show Class Dismissed, a show I also performed in last year (see above).
In 2018 I took part in a branch of the BBC Writers room, that focused on developing the writing of live comedians for screen. I wrote my pilot script called Goin' Mars with them. I am now personally developing a script called Personal.

SHE IS A
Comedian
I have been working in comedy for many years: firstly as part of a duo (That Pair, formerly The Silky Pair), and then as a solo writer/performer. My first solo show, Loo Roll, won the Vault Festival Comedy Award, sold out at Edinburgh, and was filmed for screen by NextUp comedy, now available on Amazon Prime. I am currently developing my 2nd solo show Danger: Emotion in Progress for 2021.
SHE IS A
Voice Artist
I have been the voice of Pilgrims Choice cheese, Warbuton’s Crumpets, and Change For Life, among others. I do a bunch of accents too.
